Let's start by talking about quality.

The old adage "you get what you pay for", definitely applies to essential oils. Cheaper oils are distilled and full of additives.

Therapeutic grade is the top quality. This means they meet top quality standards and testing.

Buy your oils from a trusted manufacturer.

How to use Essential Oils 101

  • Aromatically- Inhale from an open bottle, rub a drop in your hands and breathe it in, or place a few drops in your diffuser.
  • Topically- place 1 or 2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil (such as olive oil or coconut oil), then place the mixture on the area that is affected.
  • Baths- add 1 to 3 drops to a hot bath to alleviate aches and stuffy noses. (Avoid using peppermint and cinnamon in a bath.)
  • Laundry- add 2 to 3 drops of your favorite essential oil to the rinse cycle for chemical free fragrance.
